All was quiet except for the sound of an acoustic guitar playing in the darkness. The darkness soon fades away into a girl having her back to the empty bar with her hair spiked in the back and her hair as red as blood. Beside her stands a tall amp that has a small recorder tapping her song resting on top of the tall amp. Just then as if catching a small sound the girl's face turns to cast her gaze upon the darkness and empty bar. Her eye liner running down her cheek like her tears had once done as her burses surrounded her slim features on her slightly pale face. Just in the front of her stood a tall slender microphone stand with a microphone recording her sweet soothing voice. Her clothes baggy and loose as to hide her form that was never quiet perfect but only to the blind. There is only a spot light on her that she managed to turn on; everything else is black and dark. Her thin glasses catch the light from the spot light as well. She ran her fingertips over the thin strings of the guitar as she moved her lips to the sound.
"..and sometimes you don't understand why you can't reach, I bite when I don't want to beg, how silent I can be, so she is silent to...she's so disowned by words, broken, torn and diseased and broken words is all she had so now she's walking away from me and some were meant and some meant well...the difference between us was so hard to tell and I was so shaken but now all I see is everything she meant to me..." the girl sang out as she dug deep in her heart as she moved her fingertips over the string as if she had heard the song before some where.
She continued to sing her song with her sweet soothing voice as she leaned into the microphone as she poured her heart out into it all as she strung her guitar to the song in her head. Before she could really finish her song she flinched almost dropping her guitar she jumped and turned quickly to see a shadowy figure sitting back in the back of the dark bar area clapping it's hands.
"Beautiful my darling so well sung....have you anymore? I would love to hear more, I hadn't heard such a lovely voice in a long time..." the shadowy figure blurted out as he continued to clap.
Unsure of her audience and a bit more nervous she bit her lower lip as she gathered her guitar close to her chest that was well hidden in her baggy shirt. She tilted her head back some as if to think of a song to play tapping her fingertips against the amp some though it still ran recording the soon silence. Her pale hazel eyes searched about the darkness still as if not believing he was still sitting there. She soon ran her thin fingertips over the guitar in a somewhat slower pace at first drawing in to the debt of sorrow with only a few strokes before she parted her lips to push the words out.
"In a dream I spent the day with you in a carriage bought by blood... the clouds were singing songs of fear and lose and they cut me down to size and they cut me-e down to size, broken wings have a home to night no one is listening, no one is listening when darkness fell on this street last night...we never excepted this, we never expected this, in a perfect world I'd never know your name....and do we even know it when we die....will death just pass us by, will death just pass us by.. please just pass us by..." the girl sung out as she strung the guitar a little faster though giving more space in-between the words as she watched her fingertips move over the strings as she sang her song.
The stranger watched on as the girl on the stage sang on with everything she had mustered up. Sweat ran down her pale bursed face as the spot light beamed down on her. Though it had seemed forever she had played the song it was only a mere few minutes before she stopped to glance up at the stranger but he was gone. Shrugging softly she moves stopping the tap recorder and unplugging her gear quietly. She had packed her guitar and tap recorder up along with her microphone and her amp. She made several trips out to her firebird that waited out front for her. Soon after she reached for the lever pulling it killing all light but where the open door was as she made her way slowly to the door. The sun had seemed bright today as it beaded down on her pale body that wasn't covered in the baggy clothing she wore. She shifted the guitar on her shoulder and put it away in the car as she soon sat in the leather cool seats. She pushed the key in the ignition as she turned the key listening to the purring of her baby. She soon made her way back home to what had seemed her home. It was in a nice side of town with two drive ways and seeming a lot of cars. She pulled her car in the smaller of the two driveways as she unloaded her gear in the garage where most of her belongs where.
She walked into the cool air conditioned air as she was greeted by many dogs though she leaned down petting her dog. She had heard her mother and father talking in the kitchen so moved to her small storage closet room where she laid on a rather small bed closing her eyes thinking about the stranger she saw. In the distance her phone could be heard ringing as it also vibrated along her desk. In the distance her parents went quiet before they confronted her once more. Tired and worn out from the struggles she tried as hard as she could to block them out. She just stood by the mirror on the wall as her tears had traced over the eye liner that had once ran, her eyes never seeming to ever stop crying.
"I can take the terror in this damned forsaken empty house, I can take a few tears and just let it out, there are days now and then I pretend I'm okay....there's so much I want to say but I just walk away...and that's all I'm going to do cause you'll never understand...." The girl muttered softly against her parents screaming.
The girl looked up at the mirror and herself before she moved walking away, walking through the slender hallway and out into the garage where she made her way to her car before getting in and slamming the door. She could feel the tears over whiling her as she leaned over her steering wheel crying. No other sound was heard but a young girl crying in the early summer day. She had seemed to have it all to others but little did everyone know she would gladly give it all away just to have someone who really loved her or a family that was really a family. Some time had passed as she soon lifted her head up to see the figure walking by from the bar but as she got out calling for him, he was gone. Was he stalking her? Sighing seeing she would never get a hold of him to thank him at the bar she made her way back into the hell house where all was hidden from the world.
That night disaster would shatter her life forever as her and her father got into another fight only this time worse. Screams echoed through out the house though fell upon deaf ears as no one came to help her. Words of hate filled the air that night as the heat in the house grew. Not to long after the shower could be heard running as the cold water ran over the girls trembling body. She soon moved as she sat on the tiles of the shower as the water ran over her body washing away her sins and her fears. Her head pounded and her heart raced. Burses scattered even more over her imperfect body as her wet hair hide her face as she closed her eyes.
"I hate it when we fight...I can never wash the burses away..." she whispered softly as she held herself tightly.
She fought herself to make herself stand and get out the shower as she dried and wrapped a towel about her body. She made her way quietly to her room before she heard her phone ringing. Shutting the door she let it ring a few times before her shaky voice answered the cell.
"Hello? "the girl muttered out softly as she sat on her bed still wrapped in the towel.
"Hey! Heard what happened a mile away...going to take you out tonight so get ready and pack some extra clothes as well...see you in an hour!" the voice on the other line shouted out before the line was gone.
Quietly she sat there a little before she moved opening her small closet she shared with her father's passion to alcohol she dug out a pair of leather pants and a see through black shirt with lace on it as well. After digging out her night clothes she dug out some clothes she was asked to and packed it in the bag she had once used to go to college with and worked at a club. She had done her hair and make up rather fast as she dolled herself up like if she was going to go to work at the clubs and packed her make up as well. She tried her best to hide the burses on her body though some just would not go away. An hour had pasted as she heard the door bell ring it's rather sweet song to freedom and she shot out grabbing her back pack and making her way past the dogs and her parents as she hugged her friend tightly before they walked to the car. Her parents shut the door behind her not even knowing if they'd ever see their little baby girl again, even if they cared.
